Hell Week is over
So, usually once a semester there is a week that is unbearable. It is so full of stuff to do and tests and projects. I lovingly refer to this week as hell week. My hell week was this past week and I’m SO glad it’s over with. Sure, I still have tests and papers and projecs, but anything is better now that I’ve passed that point.
To celebrate being stress free and the fact that we’re getting married in a little over 6 months, Gray and I went out to dinner last night. It was nice to get dressed up and have a worry free dinner. I really enjoyed it.
It is getting really exciting to think we’re not only over the halfway point in our engagement, but it’s in the normal countdown now. Normal as in, most people get married 6-8 months after they get engaged. I think our decision was not only wise but practical. We were able to spend a lot of engaged time loving each other and supporting each other. It completely has backed up our decision to get married. Not only that, but going into this marriage, we have the full support of our families. They don’t feel like we’re rushing into it or making a hasty decision. They encourage us and love us. We’re so blessed to have families like ours supporting us.
My future in-laws are amazing. They have always been hospitable and sweet to me. I love visiting them. Unfortunately, Gray’s gramma (dad’s mom) is sick right now, so be in prayer of her recovery. Gray and I are actually getting married on her wedding day so I really want her to still be around for it.
Now I am off to get ready to go work on a group project… boo :)
