The Bahamas, Pot Racks, and Trucks that cost too much money

I keep forgetting to write about all the funny things that happen in our marriage. Let’s start back with the honeymoon. We went on a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas. The entire experience overall was pretty amazing, but there were some not so amazing things that happened.

Have you ever woken up to a man wanting to buy marijuana from you? We did. A few nights into our cruise, a phone call woke us up and a man was at the door want to buy pot from us. We were slightly confused, it was nearly 3 a.m. and told him that, “No, we won’t have any to sell.” That experience actually scared me because I had no idea who was calling us at 3 IN THE MORNING

That was the weirdest thing that happened. I got to see the amazing Atlantis hotel (where one night’s stay is enough to pay my rent here!) and aquarium. Not to mention the dolphins… Yes dolphins! On one of our excursions we went by a dolphin sanctuary. I told Gray that was pretty close to getting to play with them but that next time, he’s stepping up and getting me the real deal… jk, maybe.

Dolphins

We are still having good times in married life back at home… like that time when we were watching Gilmore Girls and the potrack (with all my pots and pans) came over the wall and went flying. It was definitely one of those slow motion,” I’m about to die” moments.

Although, nothing beats our current truck situation. A week or so ago we got gas from Kroger and within a few hours, the truck decided to turn off… by itself. It was slightly odd but we figured it was just bad gas (when water is in gas, it is considered bad gas). A trip to Auto Zone occurred where I was bored to tears as Gray and the assistant tried to figure it out. We bought some liquids that are supposed to make the gas all better. Well, apparently that wasn’t the issue. After a week (and longer) of the truck suddenly turning off, we took her in for a look. This morning I got a call from my dear husband stating that the issue we thought we had, was not the issue after all. Instead, we get to spend twice as much to have the truck working well again.

After I picked my heart up off the floor, I settled into the stages of grief. I feel like the laws of the universe are out to get us. A truck, that has worked pretty decently over the 2 and a half year I dated Gray, is suddenly needing major work, well major money for a broke married couple. As soon as we get married, I can’t find a job and the truck needs repairs. Universe, you can pretty much bite me right now because I’m very mad at you.

Wow! That's kind of scary to have your pots and pans flying at you. I'm guessing it was a wall mounted pot rack? Hopefully no one was hurt. Pot racks are great though, they save on storage space as well as adding to the decor of your kitchen. Take a look at the wide variety of pot racks http://www.potrackspecialist.com that are available for any kitchen size or style.
