Exercise Options
I am so sore from yesterday’s exercise. I started Day one of the hundred pushups challenge and I went swimming. My upper body is not entirely thrilled at the moment, but I feel so proud of myself for getting the exercise.
I’m beginning to realize that I need to watch what I eat. I used to eat whatever I wanted and not gain a pound and now my metabolism has changed. I figured now is as good of time as any to get in shape. I’ve heard that pregnancy is a lot easier if you’re in shape and although we have no plans on having kids for a few years, getting in shape before it happens will be better for me in the long run.
Gray and I have been exploring our options since we no longer have access to a gym. In our town, there is a Greenway system, which is my favorite place to go. You can run, walk, job, ride your bike, etc. It’s amazing and we go there as much as we can. We’re also taking advantage of our apartment complex’s pool. It’s relatively small, but not as crowded now that school is in session. Swimming is such good, free and pretty much easy exercise.
I’m going to try and keep track of my hundred pushup challenge on here. Gray will be starting his on Monday, so hopefully we can both keep track of it, if I can get him to post…
