Finally, that post about dinner in Nashville!

Here we are, ready to go have some fun!

Meet Mr. Robertson and Mr. Donelson. These two men founded Nashville, Tennessee and have two counties named after themselves.

This was my attempt to take a picture with L.P. Field (Home of the Titans!).

We ended up eating at the Big River Brewery restaurant on Broadway. I had been there twice for lunch when I worked downtown, but it was fun to eat there for dinner. Our waiter tried hard to get us all to buy beer and worked hard for our automatic gratuity.

This is Dustin, he was in my family group in Clearwater Beach, Florida. For those of you who don’t know, in the summer of 2005 I went on a mission trip with Campus Crusade for Christ to Clearwater for the whole summer. I got a job at a surf shop and worked and played all summer long. The jobs were our main means of outreach, but we also did big group outreaches on the beach on the weekends. It was the best summer of my life and taught me so much. Nowadays so many of us have moved on, but when we can, we get together for mini reunions. This one included about ten of us (out of 42 students)!

We did a big group picture, but it was not on my camera. We also walked around Broadway for about a hour before heading home.

I’m still recovering from the flu and I have a lot on my plate coming up. It’s going to be a long week, indeed.
