Thank goodness, because I was so not in the mood to move.
Today we renewed our lease for another year.
The decision about moving/not moving was a hard one to make. We looked into two other places and came close to moving to one. In the end, we decided that it was better for our finances to stay where we are. We’re in a budget that is working for us and moving, even to a cheaper complex, would still cost money. It would take months to recover the costs and right now, that’s not feasible.
We were lucky to get the same rate when we renewed. Gray actually asked for a lower rate and the lady, point blank, told him that she almost raised our rates, but ended up keeping them the same. We are very blessed.
So for the next year we are going to be in Tennessee, unless Gray get some amazing job that pays us to move.
