Murder by Death
It’s ironic that I’m currently watching “Murder by Death” on Netflix as I write up this entry about our next Murder Mystery Dinner party.
Over a year ago I saw a murder mystery dinner party box at Wal-mart and decided to give it a try. I loooove murder mysteries… or mysteries really and so this seemed like something I’d enjoy.
I got my roommates, at the time, inĀ on the fun and we had a blast! So much fun that last summer Trina and Gray(ok mostly Trina) threw another one to celebrate Chad and mine’s birthdays.
We’re doing another one this year! The idea popped up because a good friend, Justin Adams, is wanting to come to Tennessee to visit. He lives in Arkansas, the same Arkansas that Kris Allen is from. Sorry, I’m still on an American Idol high.
Anyway, Justin is trying to come visit and hang out with everyone. He’s planning on coming in July and hopefully see Harry Potter 6 with us and he happened to ask Trina to do another one of these parties.
So yesterday Trina and I went to some thrift stores across town looking for potential outfits for a few contenders. It was so much fun! I’m not a fan of shopping, because I never have money to spend shopping for clothes, but thrift shopping is much more fun! I tried on a few dresses, just for fun, and although none of them really worked out, it was still a lot of fun. I’m prettyexcited about the upcoming party, it will be a 20s gangster type deal and I think we’ll really enjoy it. This particular game series does not reveal the killer until the end, which is great because last time I was the killer and I knew in the beginning. Do you know how hard it is to act like you’re not the killer when everything points to you?!
We were trying to get some ideas for accessories for the style of that time.
So yeah, we’re all excited around here for this murder mystery party!

Thanks Lory, unfortunately I won't be wearing it for the party. I'm thinking of doing an updo… maybe.
