True Blood and 8 Cups of Water
This week marks the end of summer school. I will have the next three weeks off to do whatever I want to do! We’re trying to plan some trips during the week to visit our families but the weekends will require us to stay near home. You see, we’re following through the last steps of joining our church. We’ve been attending off and on for years and now we’re going through the process to learn more about the history and goals for the future. I’m actually excited to be moving on through this phase!
I’m sure that my three weeks of vacation will be plenty filled. I’ve recently begun watching old seasons of 24 and I’m currently in season 3. I also started watching True Blood, which I must admit I might be addicted to. We bought the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series last night. For those of you who don’t know, True Blood is based upon those books and is about vampires. The show has been “HBOed” as a friend of mine put it, there is a lot of sex and nudity, but the main premise and storyline is good. I won’t say anymore because I’m sure some people are tired of vampire talk, I know Gray has been tired of it for a while.
I can not believe it is already August. I wanted the summer to fly by, and it has but now I want more vacation! I’m sure I will be ready to start back at the end of this month, but right now I just want some more R&R.
Oh and last, but not least, I’m participating in the next challenge at the Sisterhood. My starting weight is 145. This is up from the last challenge and I’m really tired of bouncing back and forth. I’m hoping I can get a handle on my eating habits and watch what I am eating. I’m also hoping I will keep up my exercising when school starts back. My goal for the next 20 days is to drink at least 8 cups of water a day. I figured it will help me in this process and get rid of some of the toxins. I’m going to keep track of it via sparkpeople.com and will update you on the progress.
