So you gained

Well, I gained a pound this week and honestly? That’s pretty much what I expected. After I lost almost three pounds last week, I went into sudden craving mode. I had chips and dip twice this past week. As in, two different containers or both chips and dip! Yeah and I’m pretty sure I had a hot fudge cake sundae from Sonic as well. So to only gain a pound? Pretty much a miracle.

I am currently at 143.8 and this week I’d love to get below 142 because that seems to be where I get stuck in this weight-loss journey.

I have not measured myself in a week, hopefully I will remember to do this tonight .

Today is my rest day from training and I’m very glad for it! I will be doing a mix of a custom workout from runnersworld.com and the ea active 5k workout. So that means I’m counting my pilates class as my cross training on Tuesdays because today I realized I can’t overdo it. Today in pilates class we did a lot of leg work and we always do stomach exercises so I gave it a rest out of sheer exhaustion. I will continue cross training with EA on Fridays, I believe.

  2. Are you my weightloss twin? For real!! I gained a pound this week, too (after having lost 3 last week!). I'm sitting at 143.6 now.

    Let's pick it up together this week! I am SO longing to get below 142. That's the lowest I've been so far (142.6), and I'm dying to break past it!!!! We can do it!!

    Thanks Mendie! It's the first time, in a long time, that I've had a good attitude about it. I am SO read to see the 130s… the only time I crossed that line in the past year and a half was when I was sick… not fun at all.

    You are doing awesome!! Just stay away from those chips and dips (my favorite snacks, too– and killers for the "losing the weight" thing) and you'll make your goal!

    Thanks for the advice Brooke. I ended up measuring myself and while I stayed the same on most areas, I measured my belly and I lost a few inches since I've started pilates. We measured in pilates class at the belly button a few weeks ago so that's what I compared it to. This is a HUGE relief for me because that's where all my fat goes (t seems)!
