Halloween time excursions
I feel like I haven’t given a real update in a while, just these exercise updates…
So tomorrow night is a Halloween party that Gray and I were invited to… and we’re dressing up for it, of course!
I am going as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and Gray will be the spy from Team Fortress 2.
Our costumes are now complete and ready to go and I’m pretty excited to show off my sewing.
In one week we are hosting a murder mystery party and we’ve had horrible luck with the last guy part. First we had two contenders… then we had someone say yes… then a week later they said no. It’s been very frustrating! Gray is at the point where he says he’ll play two characters, but that would be very hard to do… and kind of sad. We’ve spent so much money already ($50 for the game and decor.. not to mention costumes) and we’re buying the food… so this party needs the last player so I don’t go crazy!
I won’t reveal the menu on here because people involved would see it, but it should be pretty good.
Btw, our pumpkin died. It got moldy super fast thanks to all the rain we’ve gotten the past month (Hiss!) and well, it rotted out. One entire side of the inside was black mold… it was rather disgusting. Also, we were planning on doing apples that were shrunken heads and they looked good, but they got moldy while we were on Fall break. Talk about bad luck…
Last night Gray and I went to see “Paranormal Activity.” I actually voted for this movie to hit theaters and it made it to a nationwide release! I have to say, it’s the best scary movie I’ve seen in a LONG TIME…. it had me holding on to Gray. The premise is that this couple is being “haunted” but the psychic says it is not a ghost.. meaning it is a DEMON. Lots of crazy stuff starts to happen and they begin videotaping the entire two weeks… some pretty crazy stuff happens… and well.. the ending is crazy. I definitely felt scared last night that something was going to get me in bed. Go see the movie if you can do scary movies… meaning Trina, you probably won’t like it.
Today we ran all over town getting stuff done and on our way to Sams some police cars stopped traffic for the football team to come through for Homecoming. Yeah, we didn’t go to the game, too much to get done today. I’m still trying to figure out how to decorate for the murder mystery…. I really want it to look the scene.
On a final note, if you buy four boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch with the special movie deal boxes, you can get two free movie tickets. We bought the boxes because Gray eats that cereal and now how to free movie tickets and the Carmike in town takes them! So free movie date for us… speaking of which, we paid for our movie last night because my birth control was fifteen dollars less yesterday than normal. It turns out that if you have insurance, they charge sixty dollars, but BCBST wasn’t paying for anything… they slowly stopped and then we got rid of them. The school insurance works so that I have to send in my payment stub to get reimbursed. So yesterday I just said, “Don’t charge my insurance” and it was $15 cheaper. They said it’s because I didn’t pay with insurance. I feel like I’ve been getting ripped off for the past six months… that’s $130 I could have saved!

yeah, I don't even watch the commercials for that movie. A guy at work said he saw it with some friends last night and they were so freaked out that they actually went home and voluntarily watched Mean Girls so they could get their minds off it. Funny!
Pumpkins only last 2 weeks tops. That's why you gotta do one with me this Friday! I wish I could do mine earlier, but I have no free time this week!!

Well our pumpkin last year lasted a few weeks… well, at least when we threw it away it wasn't FILLED with mold… it had rotted. The rain totally caused the early death of this pumpkin…. it was like a science experiment at the end!
I was looking at pumpkins yesterday to see if their price had changed any. I guess I'll buy one Monday after I know about my vaccine price.
We went home and watched 17 Again after the movie… however I fell asleep at 7pm after about 30 minutes of the movie… so yeah… I had 13 hours of sleep?
