Goals for the summer
It’s been like a week and I’ve got a lot to say but will probably need several posts to do so… like our anniversary, I need to post about that. Oh and the project 365 needs to be updated for like two weeks now? Sheesh.
We spent the weekend out of town, visiting my parents and then Gray’s family. It was a nice little vacation and we enjoyed it a lot. We are currently at work and I’m making up a grocery list in my head while trying to catch up on the internet that I missed while I was gone.
I’m going to make some goals for the summer and see how everything goes.
1. Read more, specifically: Finish my current Sookie book, Anne of Green Gables, and The Memory Keeper’s Daughter, read the Twilight saga again (BTW, saw the Eclipse trailer this weekend when we watched Robin Hood and OH MY GOSH, SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHER TWO MOVIES COMBINED!!! Anyway… after the Twilight saga is done, I will re-read Harry Potter in time for the fall movie and hopefully finish my other mound of books as well. Did I mention I have like 40 free books on my ipod? Gotta love the kindle app.
2. Cut those coupons to send to Kaylee. It really will happen soon my dear!
3. Try out some new recipes.
4. Clean out my pantry: I’m going to work on this starting today. Basically I’m going to try and make my meals from what I already have rather than buying new ones.
5. Clean out my Netflix instant queue. This means I need to watch a LOT of netflix.
6. Play the Sims 3: You guys, it’s been months since I got to really play and I tried the other day and had forgotten pretty much everything.
7. Ring in my 25th birthday in style. I realized that yes, 25 is a big deal for me, but next year is even bigger. Golden birthday anyone?
8. Potentially go ziplining in Gatlinburg and no, it’s not the one at Dollywood for those of you who have gone. We’re going on a Sanborn/Lockett/Threadgill vacation in June in Gatlinburg and we’re looking for things to do together. I’ve done a lot of the attractions already so we’re looking at stuff like horse back riding, tubing, zipling, anything adventurous. I’m more excited to see some family I’ve never met than anything else though.
9. Potentially sew something wearable that isn’t a costume… potentially, not a major goal.
10. Work out and get back into shape… this includes losing some weight, which may involve Weight Watchers again…
We’ll see how everything goals… the list is not in order, btw.
