Milano Moments: Susan G Komen
October is breast cancer awareness month.
I’m not a stranger to breast cancer, I’ve known many women who have battled it and I’ve had friends who’ve lost loved ones to the disease.
Although I haven’t lost anyone to breast cancer, the disease holds a special spot in my heart. Every day I can remember, I make a special effort to click and give a mammogram to help spot breast cancer early. Every October I make a special effort to buy products that will go towards donating money to breast cancer research. Life is too short to not enjoy every moment of it, something the Milano cookie exhibits.
This month, Pepperidge Farm will be donating 50 cents to Susan G Komen for the Cure every time someone shares a Milano Moment on their facebook wall. All you have to do is go to their wall (hyperlink) and share your own moment.
Let’s stand together and fight against breast cancer.

SO GREAT to know about this. I'll share on my blog, too. My mom, her sister, my grandmother's sister, and 2 of my mom's 3 female cousins have all had breast cancer. I'm less worried about getting it personally than I am for my sisters. Or my daughters.
